Growing up in Queensland, spending much of her childhood at the beach or in the pool, Bree is the quintessential Aussie beach babe.
Today, she spends most of her time working as a plus-size model in New York, where she has been based for the past three years. Blessed with a body that doesn’t fit the traditional model mold, Bree is part of a new wave of models challenging the size stereotypes in the industry. Having played netball, basketball and water polo at a national level as a teenager, she has long understood the importance of an active lifestyle. Now, with a growing social following, Bree has emerged as a go-to girl for body confidence.
Beginning her international modelling career in 2011, Bree worked with ASOS Curve in London and quickly became one of Australia’s most sought-after curvy exports.
In 2016, Bree was featured on the cover of Body & Soul Australia, as well as in US Women’s Health magazine. She was also the first curvier model to shoot campaigns for both Tigerlily and Lorna Jane and has been seen in the likes of Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue. Holding degrees in both Journalism and Business Management from the University of Queensland, Bree has also penned several published pieces including a column for the Telegraph UK. See PRESS for more on Bree’s work to date.
With her modelling career already spanning the best part of a decade, Bree has travelled regularly for both work and play. It was this passion for travel and her skill-set both behind and in front of the camera, that led her to launch The Wave Provocateur, the surf and travel site that she runs with her partner, Mitch.
Whether you meet her in the waves or on the catwalk, Bree is relatable, down-to-earth and always looking for new ways to bring her passions to life.
